4 Skill Clinics at Stansbury Park High School

The skill development program is designed to provide younger participants the opportunity to learn and practice individual basketball fundamentals and play fun games. Older participants will initially learn individual, defensive and offensive fundamentals of basketball. They will apply these skills as they participate in various 1 on 1 competition. As the season progresses, participants will be introduced to additional basic plays of basketball—give and go, pick and roll, screen away, etc. They will implement these plays as they participate in 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 competitions. In the latter stages of the season, participants will gain an understanding of 5 on 5 play—offensive spacing, help defense, transition keys, etc.

There will be 4 Skills Clinics and more competition during Skills all on Saturdays:
