We are sad to report due to COVID-19 we are unable to provide Junior Stallions Programs during the winter of 2020-21.  We have looked into all of the options, but the school district is not allowing us to proceed in utilizing their facility.  We support this decision, as we have an average of about 700+ sign up for Recreation and/or Skill programs and we want the kids, and those they associate with, to be safe this winter .  We know how beneficial youth programs are and our hope is that we can provide these programs sometime in the spring.  We will keep you informed if and when circumstances change. There are many apps and online resources available to our kids that can be done on their own.  We will try to provide you with some of these ideas occasionally.

We offer two programs as listed below:   (The first 500 to register will also get a basketball and a T-Shirt)

Skills Registration is now closed but Recreation League Registration is still open until Jan. 2nd or when the league is full.

1.  Fundamental Skill Development ONLY  - $40  (See Dates below) 4 Skill Clinics

The skill development program is designed to provide younger participants the opportunity to learn and practice individual basketball fundamentals and play fun games. Older participants will initially learn individual, defensive and offensive fundamentals of basketball. They will apply these skills as they participate in various 1 on 1 competition. As the season progresses, participants will be introduced to additional basic plays of basketball—give and go, pick and roll, screen away, etc. They will implement these plays as they participate in 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 competitions. In the latter stages of the season, participants will gain an understanding of 5 on 5 play—offensive spacing, help defense, transition keys, etc.
